WHAT IS VISUAL STRESS?
Some people experience discomfort when looking at certain patterns, such as a page of words, despite having no obvious eye problems that would be flagged in an ordinary eye test. Words may appear to move, wobble or flicker, while colours or patterns can seem to appear within them. This can make reading uncomfortable and may contribute to headaches, migraines and eyestrain.
Coloured plastic overlays or tinted lenses can reduce or even eliminate these effects for some people. Different colours work for different individuals, with benefits ranging from improved reading speed and fluency to reduced headaches and eyestrain.

TESTIMONIALS
Excellant service at both the eye test and selection of spectacles - my glasses were ready in 7 days so much better service than the larger optician 'chains' I have previously used. Good to have some proper customer service - thanks to all at the Lincoln branch

ReadEZ Spectacles are also available in 12 colours, including clip-ons for prescription glasses and non-prescription options for adults and children, all designed to pair with our high-quality frames. READEZ OVERLAYS AND SPECTACLES
ReadEZ Overlays are available in 12 colours (A–L), with carefully selected levels of saturation and transmittance designed to help minimise visual stress symptoms. The durable acetate A5 sheets are suitable for reading pages of different sizes. ReadEZ Spectacles are also available in 12 colours, including clip-ons for prescription glasses and non-prescription options for adults and children. The ideal colour for spectacles may differ from the preferred overlay colour because lenses tint the entire visual field, allowing the eyes to adapt. If you already use an overlay, we can help identify the optimal colour for a tinted lens.
